GO UP is a sight specific performance that invites the audience to go up to the roofs of the local city(where the performance happens).

The proposal is to rediscover the affectionateness with the city and a new cartography: the map of roofs and terraces. 

Up there, the audience will find a pair of binoculars and several headphones with voices that talk about the city view from the top. Writers will be invited to write about GOing UP.

Observations:

There's always a monitor with the audience that will be taking care of the terrace. No more than 10 people can do this performance at the same time. And for 15 minutes the audience explores the landscape.

Two writers will be invited to think about the local city from this perspective. To each city there are local writers invited.

O que é que se passa contigo? Juro que de todas as vezes que tento conversar é com o objectivo de perceber melhor aquilo que tu queres. Quase todas as vezes venho para casa com a sensação de que não nos entendemos bem como eu gostaria. Perco muito tempo a imaginar como é que os outros lidam contigo, já que para mim é tão difícil.
Falta parares de viver aquilo que imaginas interessante e passares realmente a assumir a tua nova cara, no novo país e na nova europa.

A livraria

A livraria deve ter espaço para se conversar ou então para se ler livros sozinho. Deve ser um ponto de encontro. Na livraria em que fui hoje podia-se falar mas só baixinho. Então sozinha agarrei num livro pesado e grande do Pedro Cabrita Reis, abri a primeira página e li a frase: aprendi que nada pode ser só uma coisa. Já não me lembro em que contexto é que aquela frase me fez sentido, mas de facto fez, tanto que quando saí para a rua vim inspirada como se saísse de um museu.
